UX Designer - design systems (Columbus, OH)

Redstone Rook Press Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for bindery work, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around bindery work that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in bindery work. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
