UX Designer - design systems (Columbus, OH)

We are growing our team at Northwind Pine Community Partners and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be design systems. We are small enough to know everyone's name. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around benefits enrolment that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in benefits enrolment. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
