UX Designer - design systems (Colorado Springs, CO)

We are growing our team at Northwind Glen Health and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be design systems. You would join a small organisation of about 72 people based in Colorado Springs. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around patient scheduling that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in patient scheduling. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Colorado Springs, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
