UX Designer - design systems (Colorado Springs, CO)

Northwind Sable Early Learning runs childcare centres in Colorado Springs caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would join a small organisation of about 76 people based in Colorado Springs. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around licensing records that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in licensing records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Colorado Springs. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
