UX Designer - design systems (Cincinnati, OH)

Summit Field Medical designs and makes medical devices in Cincinnati. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. You would join a small organisation of about 16 people based in Cincinnati. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around device records that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in device records. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Cincinnati. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
