UX Designer - design systems (Cincinnati, OH)

Redstone Meadow Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Cincinnati area, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would join a large organisation of about 848 people based in Cincinnati. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around family communication that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in family communication. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Cincinnati. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
