UX Designer - design systems (Cincinnati, OH)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Meadow Early Learning Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be design systems. You would join a small organisation of about 44 people based in Cincinnati. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around enrolment that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in enrolment. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Cincinnati. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
