UX Designer - design systems (Cincinnati, OH)

Ironwood Cobalt Insurance is an insurance company in Cincinnati with claims and service teams. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Design for tasks around catastrophe response that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Cincinnati. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
