UX Designer - design systems (Cincinnati, OH)

Westbrook River Press Group produces print and digital publications in Cincinnati. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Design for tasks around bindery work that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in bindery work. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Cincinnati. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
