UX Designer - design systems (Cincinnati, OH)

Harborlight Summit Pharma develops and makes medicines in Cincinnati, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Design for tasks around batch records that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in batch records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Cincinnati. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
