UX Designer - design systems (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Bright Community Partners Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be design systems. We are small enough to know everyone's name. What you will do • Design for tasks around volunteer shifts that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in volunteer shifts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
