UX Designer - design systems (Charlotte, NC)

Silverline Pine Community Partners Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for volunteer shifts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are small enough to know everyone's name. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around volunteer shifts that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in volunteer shifts. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Charlotte. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
