UX Designer - design systems (Charlotte, NC)

Clearpath North Medical designs and makes medical devices in Charlotte, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around device records that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in device records. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charlotte. • We reply to every applicant.
