UX Designer - design systems (Charlotte, NC)

Harborlight Rook Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Charlotte. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Design for tasks around promotions that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in promotions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
