UX Designer - design systems (Baltimore, MD)

Highbridge Bright Financial Group is a financial-services company in Baltimore, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around customer onboarding that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in customer onboarding. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
