UX Designer - design systems (Baltimore, MD)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Hollow Arts Center and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be design systems. We run on creativity, deadlines and a lot of goodwill. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around ticketing that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in ticketing. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Baltimore. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
