UX Designer - design systems (Baltimore, MD)

Bluepeak Vale Medical designs and makes medical devices in Baltimore, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would join a large organisation of about 590 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in complaint handling. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
