UX Designer - design systems (Atlanta, GA)

Ironwood Thistle Learning Group is an education provider in Atlanta serving students and families. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Design for tasks around school calendars that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in school calendars. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Atlanta. • We reply to every applicant.
