UX Designer - design systems (Anchorage, AK)

Bluepeak Field Financial serves customers across Anchorage with accounts, loans and payments. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. Trust is the product, so accuracy and clarity matter. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around customer onboarding that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in customer onboarding. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
