UX Designer - design systems (Anchorage, AK)

Nova Ashton Banking Services Group is a community-focused bank in Anchorage serving households and small businesses, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would join a small organisation of about 50 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Design for tasks around deposit accounts that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in deposit accounts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
