UX Designer - content design (Wichita, KS)

Westbrook Maple Insurance is an insurance company in Wichita with claims and service teams, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Wichita. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
