UX Designer - content design (Wichita, KS)

We are growing our team at Nova Summit Press Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. You would join a small organisation of about 41 people based in Wichita. What you will do • Design for tasks around print quotes that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in print quotes. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Wichita. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
