UX Designer - content design (Virginia Beach, VA)

Cedar Field Markets Group operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Virginia Beach. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around promotions that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in promotions. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
