UX Designer - content design (Virginia Beach, VA)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Thistle Learning Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. You would join a small organisation of about 33 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around student accounts that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in student accounts. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
