UX Designer - content design (Tampa, FL)

Westbrook Granite Community Partners is a nonprofit in Tampa supporting families with food, housing and job help, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around donor records that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in donor records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Tampa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
