UX Designer - content design (Tampa, FL)

Nova Ridge Insurance Group sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Tampa. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Design for tasks around catastrophe response that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Tampa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
