UX Designer - content design (St. Louis, MO)

Clearpath Vale Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around St. Louis. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Design for tasks around policy renewals that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in policy renewals. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in St. Louis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
