UX Designer - content design (St. Louis, MO)

Harborlight Mill Arts Center Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on content design for exhibitions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 283 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around exhibitions that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in exhibitions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in St. Louis. • We reply to every applicant.
