UX Designer - content design (Savannah, GA)

Silverline Ember Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Savannah, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around production lots that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in production lots. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Savannah, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
