UX Designer - content design (San Jose, CA)

Bright Union Health runs clinics and patient services around San Jose. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. You would join a large organisation of about 733 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in clinic supplies. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
