UX Designer - content design (San Jose, CA)

We are growing our team at Cedar Ivory Banking Services Partners and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. You would join a small organisation of about 25 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around card disputes that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in card disputes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
