UX Designer - content design (San Jose, CA)

Highbridge Haven Medical Group builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in San Jose, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in clinical evaluations. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
