UX Designer - content design (San Jose, CA)

Westbrook Corner Press is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on content design for paper stock, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Design for tasks around paper stock that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in paper stock. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
