UX Designer - content design (San Jose, CA)

Summit North Pharma develops and makes medicines in San Jose, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. You would join a small organisation of about 92 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Design for tasks around release testing that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in release testing. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
