UX Designer - content design (San Diego, CA)

Bright Harbor Transit Planning is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on content design for ridership counts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Design for tasks around ridership counts that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in ridership counts. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
