UX Designer - content design (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Clear Banking Services and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around deposit accounts that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in deposit accounts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
