UX Designer - content design (San Diego, CA)

Summit Haven Financial serves customers across San Diego with accounts, loans and payments. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. Career paths are clear. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around regulatory reports that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in regulatory reports. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
