UX Designer - content design (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Cedar Fox Early Learning and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. We celebrate small wins and steady routines. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in enrolment. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
