UX Designer - content design (Salt Lake City, UT)

Stonegate Harbor Arts Center runs a venue and education programmes in Salt Lake City, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around volunteer programmes that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in volunteer programmes. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Salt Lake City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
