UX Designer - content design (Salt Lake City, UT)

We are growing our team at Cedar Clear Transit Planning and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. You would join a small organisation of about 47 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around route schedules that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in route schedules. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
