UX Designer - content design (Salt Lake City, UT)

Summit Amber Financial is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on content design for loan applications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around loan applications that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in loan applications. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Salt Lake City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
