UX Designer - content design (Sacramento, CA)

Cedar Meadow Community Partners runs community programmes across Sacramento, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Design for tasks around volunteer shifts that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in volunteer shifts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
