UX Designer - content design (Richmond, VA)

Highbridge Cedar Arts Center is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on content design for ticketing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 33 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around ticketing that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in ticketing. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Richmond. • We reply to every applicant.
