UX Designer - content design (Richmond, VA)

Cedar Clear Banking Services is a community-focused bank in Richmond serving households and small businesses. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. Most people here started in a branch and stayed. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around card disputes that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in card disputes. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
