UX Designer - content design (Richmond, VA)

Nova Drift Banking Services Group provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Richmond, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. We promote from within and train well. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around branch operations that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in branch operations. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
