UX Designer - content design (Richmond, VA)

Rivermark Wilder Insurance Partners provides coverage to households and businesses around Richmond, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around claims that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Richmond. • We reply to every applicant.
