UX Designer - content design (Richmond, VA)

We are growing our team at Cedar Umber Banking Services Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. You would join a large organisation of about 732 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Design for tasks around fraud alerts that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in fraud alerts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
