UX Designer - content design (Reno, NV)

Westbrook Maple Financial is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on content design for loan applications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Trust is the product, so accuracy and clarity matter. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around loan applications that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in loan applications. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
