UX Designer - content design (Reno, NV)

Harborlight Pine Markets is a Reno retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around store inventory that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in store inventory. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
