UX Designer - content design (remote)

We are growing our team at Northwind Hollow Transit Planning and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. You would join a large organisation of about 454 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in service alerts. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
